Das Modul sollte helfen, die durch das neue Kinderförderungsgesetz benötigten Kitaplätze schnellstmöglich zu schaffen. Im Team mit mehreren Handwerksbetrieben wurde das Modul entwickelt. Fünf solcher Kitas wurden in Ulm und eine weitere in Schwabmünchen gebaut. Die fünf Kitas in Ulm wurden unter Federführung der IBS Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH schlüsselfertig erstellt. Die Kita im Neunkirchenweg (2-gruppige, frei stehende Einrichtung) bekam beispielhaft das DGNB Vorzertifikat in Silber verliehen. Weiterhin wurde das Modul bei der Planung für diverse Kita-Wettbewerbe eingesetzt. In nächster Zukunft entstehen weitere Kindergärten auf Basis der Cleveren Kita.
Gleichzeitig suchte man im Büro nach einer Möglichkeit, das eigene Modulsystem weiterzuentwickeln. Ein Konzept für Flüchtlingswohnheime bzw. sozialen Wohnungsbau entstand.
