Die Stadt Weilheim an der Teck hatte Bedarf für eine neue Kindertagesstätte. Aus diesem Grund wurde in der Schellingstraße in Weilheim beim Bildungszentrum Wühle eine neue Kita errichtet. Ursprünglich war geplant, die Kita in zwei Bauabschnitten zu erstellen. Nun jedoch wurde die Kindertagesstätte mit Räumen für zwei U3-Gruppen und drei Ü3-Ganztagesgruppe in einem Bauabschnitt fertiggestellt. Die Eröffnung fand im Februar 2020 statt. Die Kita wurde entsprechend dem von Hullak Rannow entwickelten Modul „Die Clevere Kita“ gebaut.
