Hullak Rannow Architekten hat im November 2017 die Planungskonkurrenz zu obengenannter Bauaufgabe gewonnen. Das Gebäude wurde 2021 fertiggestellt.
Lesen sie hier die Entwurfsgedanken aus den Plänen zur Planungskonkurrenz:
Durch den Ersatz des Bestandes besteht in Oberkirchberg die Chance städtebauliche Prägungen zu stärken bzw. die Struktur der Grundschule zu verfeinern. Der neue Baukörper bildet zum Platz im Norden eine adäquate Kante. Das Gebäude nimmt sich weiter zurück, so kann der Platz von der Fugger-Verwaltung einerseits mehr Raum einnehmen und andererseits der Innenhof der Schule besser gefasst werden. Es bietet sich an, das“ gedachte“ Rechteck der Schule zur Sterngasse hin zu öffnen und den Freibereich im Grünen in die Schulstruktur zu integrieren. Der Hauptzugang erfolgt – wie bisher – von der Schloßstraße über einen neu eingeschobenen Zwischenbau, von dem aus man sowohl den Neu- als auch den Bestandsbau erschließt. Dieser „Zwischenbau“ kann sowohl als überdachter Pausenraum, als auch für außerschulische Aktivitäten, wie Weihnachtsmarkt, etc. genutzt werden und erlaubt eine witterungsunabhängige Nutzung. Im Bereich des nördlichen EGs befinden sich die angegliederten Funktionen Jugendraum und WC-Kirchbesucher. Durch die Integration dieser Funktionen ins Gesamtgefüge sind zahlreiche, kombinierte Nutzungen der „Funktionseinheit Schule“ denkbar. Sämtliche Nutzungen ergänzen sich sinnvoll. Die Erschließung erfolgt einerseits zentral über den Innenbereich und im einzelnen über die Treppenhäuser der jeweiligen Gebäude.
