Container sind ein Lagerort für Guter.“ Deshalb sind für Jens Rannow und Bernd Hullak Containerlösungen als längerfristiger Wohnraum ein völlig falscher Denkansatz. Aktuell rücken Container bei der Frage nach der Unterbringungsmöglichkeit von Flüchtlingen notgedrungen wieder in den Fokus vieler Kommunen. Hullak Rannow wollen einen zukunftsfähigen Beitrag für dieses gesellschaftliche Problem leisten. „F3“ entstand im eigenen Zukunftslabor. Die Architekten entwickelten ihre Raummodule der Cleveren Kita (Holzrahmenbauweise) zu diesem Zweck weiter. Es sind Module entstanden, die flexibel für drei verschiedene Arten der Nutzung anwendbar sind F3 = 3-fach flexibel: Sozialer Wohnungsbau, Flüchtlingswohnen und Studentenwohnen. Damit wird eine langfristige Nutzung gewährleistet und macht F3 somit auch in finanzieller Hinsicht attraktiv. Mit diesem Konzept wurden bereits mehrere Wohnheime geplant.
